The origins of my company date back to 1979 when I started to be interested in  constructing myself a boat. I built my first boat in 1983. It was a dingy, a ‘Wydra’- type sailboat constructed on the basis of plans purchased in the newsagent’s kiosk. I spent several seasons on the Masuria’s Lake District, Poland, on this boat.

Professionally, I began to work at a boat -building workshop in the Yacht Club of Poland in Warsaw in 1984, where I learned the real boatbuilding craft by building of fibered hulls, but with wooden decks and interior. I founded my own company in 1988. In 1990, the DAS Venture was created and we started as the first private shipyard company the mass production of yachts. Once a week one ready-made yacht was leaving our shipyard which was incredible at those days. And we only employed 12 people then. The refinement of the technology enabled us to build the yacht for such a short time. Since the beginning of activity, our products have been having a very high quality and have received the best results at home and abroad.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, the greater availability of high-quality materials caused a significant increase of our production, the company has developed and we were able to realize our own projects of sailing and motor yachts. In majority, the yachts were exported to Western Europe. They navigate in Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Thailand, the USA and Russia.
The yachts Ocean 725 and 950 have been nominated three times to the award of the Yacht of the Year by the ‘DIE YACHT’ monthly.
The Ocean 725 once was awarded the fifth place in the class up to 30 ft competing with other shipyards such as Bavaria, Dehler or Jeanneau.

On the basis of the sailing yacht the SYMPATHY 600, the Polish Association of the SYMPATHY 600 Class was established. This class has already been 23 years old and still the regattas take place on our yachts.
Our products comply with the European standards and possess certificates of the German Lloyd.
